I’m a long time collector of counter-culture badges and have amplified this affection by painting giant versions for customers to hang on their walls, much like a painting. They are 80cm in diameter and painted onto marine-plywood - the same, long lasting and weather proof materials l use for pub signs. I often use gold leaf on these and always high-quality enamel paints.
